bikin nastar yuk!!



Nastar Kacang Aroma Jeruk

1. Yield 380 grams

2. For the batter:

  • 150 gram all-purpose flour
  • 25 gram powdered milk
  • 125 gram salted butter
  • 30 gram confectioner’s sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 50 gram unsalted roasted peanuts, finely ground

3. For pineapple filling:

  • 1/2 (200 gram) pineapple, grated
  • 50 gram sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

4. For the glaze:

  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1/2 teaspoon evaporated milk (or whole milk)
  • 1/4 teaspoon honey
  • 50 gram unsalted roasted peanuts, coarsely chopped

5. For the filling:

  • cook grated pineapple until it is quite dry
  • add sugar, lemon zest, lemon juice, and salt
  • stir until sugar is dissolved and it’s getting dry again
  • let it drain in colander

6. For the batter:

  • sift flour and powdered milk together, set it aside
  • cream butter and confectioner’s sugar for about 30 seconds
  • add egg yolk, beat again until well combined
  • add the sifted flour and powdered milk, beat well
  • combine finely ground peanuts in the batter and mix it again

7. preheat oven to 150 degrees C (300 degrees F)

8. weigh batter about 7 gram, flatten it with hand, fill with pineapple filling and enclose it like a round ball

9. place the cookies in greased cookie sheets and bake for 15 minutes

10. take it out and glaze it with glaze mixture and sprinkle with chopped peanuts

11. bake again for 15 minutes or until it is golden yellow

12. let it sit in the cookie sheet for 1-2 minutes then let it cool in the cooling rack
