Synopsis

Prolog by Ken's mother :

Ken was born with a small hole in his heart. This disease is called Ventricular Septal Defect with Aortic Regurgitation. At first, the doctor said he would not be able to live past a year. But later it became three years. Finally, the doctor had no choice. They gave up on finding a cure for Ken. But the miracles continued. Ken turned 15 years old.

What Ken is longing to see again is the biggest avian legend of the deep mountains - the great mountain eagle. Ken probably still believes in the miracle of the great mountain eagle. And it was not untill a long time after that I finally understood the true meaning of this miracle on a snowy and quiet day.

Ken message to his bestfriends :

Kira, thank you for bringing me such wonderful piano music. I finally completed the wing of the great eagle. And for Koichii, who accompanied me on my first plane flight, I have also made a wing for him. And being able to see Kira's surprised expression at Kyuushu, I think that the music recital will definitely be one of my most treasured memories. I really believed in the miracle of the great eagle when I was younger. Even up to now, all the miracles that have happened is all made possible by the strength I received from the great eagle. This is what I have always thought, but now I finally realized what a true miracle is - the strength that made it possible for me to live untill now is definitely not a miracle. It's because of my dad, mom, and sisters - everyone who has been supporting me and giving me strength. Mom would always tell me that I need to have hope. The mom who always assured me that if I believe there is hope, a miracle will happen. I am very thankful to her. I think that Kira probably like me, has received a lot of hope from her family. As long as we can remember them one by one, I believe that there will be a day when you will forgive your dad, and that will be the day that Kira truly becomes strong. I, too, will not give up hope in the future. if possible, I want to live strong like the great eagle. I hope that Kira will be able to think this way one day. I know it's a little too early to be giving Christmas present now. We will definitely meet up over spring break. We will definitely meet up over spring break.

The abrupt but spectacular sight of the great mountain eagle. I feel that Ken is definitely watching it. Ken, who has brought so much hope to me, my family, and many other people, I saw his silhouette.
